Young Adult Sleep and Memory Study
We are recruiting young adults ages 18-25 for a study that investigates the relationship between sleep and memory. The study will take place over the course of three weeks (21 days). On approximately days 1, 7, and 14, participants will come to the Sleep Lab. Two sessions will be overnight sessions, where participants are asked to come into the lab around 1 hour before their normal bed time. Another session will be a wake session, where participants are asked to come to the lab in the morning for a short session and return 8-9 hours later for the short evening session.
The experiment has the following time requirements:
Overnight session 1: Arrive 1 hour before your usual bedtime (e.g., 10pm) and leave about 30 mins after waking (e.g., 7am).
Overnight session 2: Arrive 1 hour before your usual bedtime (e.g., 10pm) and leave about 30 mins after waking (e.g., 7am).
Wake sessions: About 30 minutes in the morning (e.g., 10-10:30am) and 30 mins in the evening (e.g., 7-7:30pm)
Participants can earn up to $100 or 10 SONA credits upon completion of the study. Complete our prescreening survey here!
